La Louve Private Hair Academy aims to:
- To equip prospective professional hairdressers with much needed academical and practical training and background.
- To provide training of the best quality and according to QCTO & SAQA’s preferred standards.
- To present a professionally trained hairdresser to the trade, who will be able to work and engage on a professional level with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- To equip the student with enough background and knowledge to enable him/ her to follow any direction in the hairdressing trade.
- We also strive to enable the student to run his / her own business successfully.
Your way towards becoming a qualified stylist:
- Complete studies successfully through academy – part time or fulltime.
- Apply for an apprentice position at any salon of your choice to complete informal hours.
- Make sure to complete a contract and keep a copy
- Make sure that the contract is lodged at SETA/QCTO as soon as you start working as an apprentice.
- Keep your logbook and evidence portfolio up to date.
- Once your hours are complete submit to La Louve , apply for your final summative assessment or trade test.
